In ELA we will continue working on identifying the most important series of events (sequence) in texts we read to help us better understand what we are reading.

Virtual Meet the Teacher Night

Meet the Teacher Night: Thursday October 15th at 6:00 pm

Message from Mr. Criscone:

Families,
As you might have expected, we will be hosting a virtual Meet the Teacher Night this year.  Teachers will be hosting through Google Meet, the same platform the children use when they have live sessions with their teachers.  A couple of days before the event, we'll be sending you an email that contains all of the links to access the Google Meets.  I'll also send a reminder email out the day of.

In addition to the classroom teacher's event, we will also be posting links to view the special area teacher introduction to their programs, which will be short videos giving you a program overview and other helpful information.  Those will be pre-recorded and accessible thorough our district website around the same time as your child's meet the teacher night.

This event is for families with children attending in-person and virtually.  The specific links that you will need to access will be sent to you as we get closer to the event.

Wednesday, October 14th:

Kindergarten: 6:00-6:30pm

First Grade: 6:30-7:00pm

Second Grade: 7:00-7:30pm

Thursday, October 15th:

Third Grade: 6:00-6:30pm

Fourth Grade: 6:30-7:00pm

Today's News

Tuesday

Today was another great day! In Math we took our first assessment (Topic #1) of the year and I thought students did a great job. They worked hard and were very respectful of each other throughout the process. I am very proud of their effort and stamina so early in the year.

In ELA we continued to explore our newest story, "The Dream Catcher," and talked about the importance of identifying the important sequence of events that take place in a story. We will continue to work on this on Wednesday.

Overall another great day in the books!
